transit strike? you fuckers.

i say this with a biased mind: i live only about three miles from work, and as an athlete, the idea of walking three miles is about as common as the shower after my run at the gym: hardly a big deal. and i love this weather. all that being said...

i hope these motherfuckers strike for weeks. every day they strike, two days docked in pay. right in time for the holidays. these bastards are the highest paid unskilled labor force in the world; they make more than college grads who have been working for years, more than teachers, more than people who work for charities and non-profits. and it's lovely that if you assault them, it's a felony, but if they assault you, it's a misdemeanor. fight to keep the playing field so unleveled, go right ahead. strike your asses off during the holidays and spend every fucking cent out of your savings accounts to do so. keep in mind that the rest of us work for raises, and have to work well into our 60s. but you, you just hold out and strike as long as you'd like. go ahead. and when you get your get your fair contract eventually, you'll realize how inane and selfish this strike really is, spending every cent of your savings in the interim, all the while building up imminent credit card debt to buy yourselves a merry christmas. fuckers. you'll get what you deserve.
